Patrick Lau is currently the founder and CEO of Snaildy Education, a social enterprise. By constructing a closely interconnected intelligent "Snaildiverse - Central Database System for SEN and Gifted Students," SNAILDY provides lifelong and continuous support service records for students, parents, and teachers, creating a better educational environment.Under his leadership, the company has provided support to over ten thousand students with special education needs, teachers, and parents. Additionally, the company has received various accolades, including the championship in the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge, Bright Future SME’s Youth Creative Entrepreneurship Award and the Smart Living Partner Award, among others. Furthermore, the company has received support from the Hong Kong Family Charitable Foundation, City University of Hong Kong and HKEdCity, etc. In addition to his extensive entrepreneurial experience, Patrick is a registered social worker in Hong Kong and holds public positions. He serves as a member of the Disciplinary Committee Panel of the Social Workers Registration Board, Rehabilitation Advisory Committee - Sub-committee on Employment (RAC SCE) and advisor in the field of special education needs for Hong Kong Cyberport. He also serves as a judge and committee member for various scholarships and competitions, actively contributing to society. He was also awarded Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area, the 8th Youth DreamMakers Award and Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 - Social Impact.
