I'm an early career researcher studying cognitive neuroscience applications to the prevention and rehabilitation of neurotrauma (e.g., concussion) and sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. I’ve served in a faculty position for 8 years and have developed/taught 12 different courses primarily focused on brain-behavior relationships, including biopsychology, cognitive neuroscience, psychopharmacology, and neurocognitive disorders. Passionate mentor of trainees pursuing careers in biomedical research, psychology, and medicine. Currently directing the Brain Research and Assessment in Neurotrauma and Sport (BRAiNS) Lab at WKU.
