This role consists in implementing customer-centric strategy, boosting new products and services identification, and driving customer acquisition. I lead a team of 40, foster individual professional development, ensure appropriate training is being delivered, and enable succession planning. I oversee performance management and track achievement of KPIs as well as alignment with service level agreements. I manage key stakeholders, spearhead senior management team, and monitor compliance of policies and frameworks with IFRS requirements. I perform risk management on behalf of clients, conduct business assessment of price / cost feasibility, and drive business transformation through implementation of improved operational processes. I also administer governance, monitor compliance with financial legislation, and create strict frameworks. Finally I steer all aspects of financial management including costing, forecasting, and value chain development, evaluate financial statements, and act as Chairman and non-executive director on the board of multinational and international companies.My key accomplishments include:• Contributing to Bloomberg Tax Guide.• Exceeding KPIs by 20%• Generating up to 20% turnover growth year-on-year.• Delivering 15% increase in client base.• Recording less than 2% human resource attrition/ turnover.• Successfully establishing risk profiling structure and leading development of Group reporting pack.• Introducing effective compliance framework satisfying regulators.

During this tenure I developed and implemented business plan, spearheaded daily operations, and coached a team. I tracked business performance, reviewed processes, and rolled out best practice methods to drive continuous improvement. I oversaw financial management, administered preparation of financial statements and annual budgets, and managed cash flow as well as debt collection and payroll. I enforced compliance with internal policies and local Mauritian legislation, focused on money laundering and terrorist financing, and acted as Deputy Money Laundering Officer. I fostered team building, maintained strong relationships with partners, directors, and attorneys, and monitored service level. I also spearheaded marketing activities and developed company structures for asset protection and tax effectiveness.My key accomplishments included:• Growing the team from 1 to 30 staff members.• Delivering 10% growth in annual turnover.• Recording fewer than 2% staff attrition.
