I was born and raised on my parents dairy farm in South-Central Wisconsin. The farm consists of a closed 100 cow Holstein herd with all young stock raised on the farm. All feed is grown on approximately 500 owned acres with excess grain sold as cash crop. In 1998, my parents made the decision to bring a partner family into 50% ownership of the operating entity to provide a steadier management and labor team.
