Patrick Lennon is a passionate motivational and inspirational speaker. For years he has inspired his audience by sharing his life experiences to teach successful life skills. Patrick is currently a baseball instructor and partner at Matt Guiliano's Play Like A Pro in Hauppauge New York. With his background as a former major-league player, and a 19-year career Patrick uses his experience to help baseball players develop their skills.     Patrick is the first recipient of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's “Athlete of the Year Award”. The association also voted him as one of the top 50 best athletes ever, in the state of North Carolina.      Upon graduating high school in 1986 Patrick entered the Major League Baseball draft and was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the first round as the eighth overall pick. In 1991 Patrick made his major league debut with the Mariners. He went on to play in the major leagues for the Kansas City Royals, the Oakland Athletics and the Toronto Blue Jays. After battling knee injuries Patrick finished his career in 2005 with the ‪Long Island Ducks‬.     During his career Patrick began guest speaking at schools and organizations, providing tools in life skills, self-awareness, and personal growth. Patrick speaks from his heart and experiences, encouraging and inspiring his audience to seek to be their best.
