Started off at The Boat in Berkhamsted, a beautiful canal side pub, took through a major refurbishment in first three months and returned this great pub to it’s former glory and set many sales records in the process, grew food sales and made the pub a premium proposition for visitors and locals alike, leaving the pub in a great position with a solid team in place. After two great years was promoted to the Iconic Lamb and Flag, Covent Garden in March 2018. Increased sales consistently by implementing a customer focussed approach, hiring, honing and training a highly skilled team and ensuring that great service is at the top of our priorities at all times. In first two years we increased overall sales to record levels on multiple occasions and doubling average food sales without major capital investment. The pub continues to grow sales and develop its people to maintain this upward trend and deliver record profits.

GM of The Royal Oak. Oldest bar in England allegedly, parts of the pub dates back to 1002. Birthplace of Edward the confessor and home to Emma, first queen of England, range of 6 cask ales always on, lots of craft beers on tap and bottled. Traditional pub food served to the hordes of tourists and locals, one of the busiest pubs in Winchester.

Harpenden

Took the reins as General manager of The George in Harpenden, flagship bar for the Pizza Kitchen Bar concept. In 2012 I was appointed as a training house manager and am heavily involved in the roll out of the new PKB openings. Made platinum partner in 2012. Nominated for sales business of the year in 2012 and manager of the year in 2013. Completed steps to success area manager program in September 2013. Awarded platinum partner status by being in top 10% of performers and nominated for manager of the year and sales manager of the year.Sales Budget beaten by £60k in 2010, £135k in 2011, £200k in 2012, £37k in 2013 and £45k in 2014. Left the bar in a great position after the purchase of the business by M&B after being approached by GK.

First appointment as GM, in Cheltenham Yates. After a successful 18 months was asked to take over the bigger Oxford operation which had seen sales stagnation. After 18 very successful months was asked to run one of the biggest Yates in the company which was one of the oldest original wine lodges in Nottingham, took the business through an extensive refurbishment and had two great years before deciding to take up a new challenge. Also was a centre of excellence manager, regional training coordinator and PR champion during these years.
