As a senior electrical engineer for an American PVC flooring product manufacturing company. My job is mainly in charge of both mixing and compounding area of the whole production line. 1. Working with contractors for production line setting-up. Responsible for steel structure building, cable tray lay out design and electrical cabinet installation.2. Evaluate and formulate the design standard of raw material batch system and material compounding equipment. Assist European contractors to develop control system architecture for production line equipment integration with different vendors. On-site commission for production line setting-ups, include Ethernet/IP ring type network building up, Hardy Weighing system installation and calibration, Batch system and compounding equipment integration, Factorytalk View SE SCADA and Control Logix 5000 programming and system deployment, Coperion Extruder equipment integration, Calender, Gel Drum, rewinder and unwinder web tension control, Multi-Axis Cam synchronize servo control by Rockwell Kinetix 6500 controller for Gravure Printing equipment.4. Responsible for control system historian data system integration which includes SQL based raw material inventory database setting up and Wonderware Data Historian deployment for production process data acquisition.5. Batch system and compounding equipment daily maintenance and troubleshooting work. The main equipment for raw material batch system are turbo mixers, material feeding and transfer equipment with weighing control, extruder for compounding, calendar for laminating, several coating machine of different type, (screen coating & UV coating), printing machine and end up with packaging for finishing goods. 6. Line expansion for both raw material and compounding area. Responsible for new equipment integration and control system expansion design.

Responsible for automation system design and model selection according to process control logic and P&ID flow chart. The automation system normally is project based on different vendor such as Schneider, Rockwell，Siemens & GE. The control structure mainly employ standard DCS type configuration such as ring type redundancy network, hot standby PLC controllers and distributed IO station and all kinds of process instruments.2. Sequence and control logic programming for both PLC and SCADA system. Offline simulation and process verification before on-site installation and commission. Familiar with Rslogix 5000, Unity Pro, Step 7 and GE Proficy Machine Edition programming tools. For SCADA system experience with IFIX, Citect, Wincc and Factorytalk View SE.3. All kinds of Data Historian server deployment and report scripting programming. (FT Historian, Proficy Historian, Citect Historian)4. Assist contractor for on-site cabinet installation and cable tray deployment. Implement commission test for all distributed IO points and all kinds of valves and motors.5. Responsible for on-site commission of whole control system which involves network communication test, Batch sequence and PID loop control (flow, pressure, temperature loop), all kinds of instruments calibration and control valve, pumps setting-ups.6. Troubleshooting and calibration for all control valves and instruments.7. Configure all LV & HV VFDs and power meters. All the power meters connected by MODBUS interface and transfer data to SCADA system for historian data acquisition.8. Code & control logic documentation, on-site training for end users and also cover on-line maintenance and system tracking during trial run phases.
