The Careers Centre is the contact hub of the carecareers workforce initiative, The projects mission is to help grow the Aged and Disability sector by attracting new workers to the sector The Project Manager, Careers Centre is responsible for managing the Centre’s operations, delivery on service KPIs, implementing operational improvements, identifying new strategic opportunities to enhance and extend the service, and integrating with other NDS workforce initiatives.Achievements/TasksDelivered against key performance indicators: Over 500,000 website visitors a month, 120000 registered job seekers making over 1 million applications resulting in an estimated 40,000 new workers gained employment in the sector.Management of the Careers Centre, incorporating planning, staffing, delivery and day-to-day running to meet NDS objectives. Quality assurance and operations processes implementation and documentation.Implementing process of continuous improvement of the Careers Centre’s operations; analysing customer, competitor and market trends and making recommendations for system developments.Management of suppliers/contractors, and planning and management of expenditure as appropriate. Providing regular project reports to NDS management and stakeholder meetings as required.Liaising with NDS staff and other stakeholders to identify and build synergies with other workforce initiatives.Oversight and project management of online content and promotional material for the Careers Centre, in conjunction with the Client Engagement Manager, ensuring it is accurate, of high quality, compelling, and appropriate to the target audience.Delivery of a successful service that motivates, supports and provides opportunities for people considering a career in the disability sector. Estimated 40,000 people gained employment in the sector over the project life.Liaising with client service providers and hiring managers to ensure the service meets their needs as much as possible.
