- Reports to a board of 17 members, and works with a staff of four full-time employees, as well as support staff (bookkeeper, IT), project staff, short-term employees and students. - Maintains relations with a wide variety of artistic and community organizations (English and French) as well as funders, elected officials and policy makers. - Oversees the day-to-day affairs of the organization,- Supervises ELAN’s HR functions: salary reviews, staff evaluations, job descriptions, and application of ELAN’s HR policies,- Supervises ELAN staff to provide services and networking opportunities for ELAN’s members,- Supervise timely submission of all grant applications to funding and granting authorities,- Supervises budgeting and financial operations of the organization,- Leads strategic planning and development of new projects and initiative,- Promotes ELAN and its members and represent them at public events,- Advocates on behalf of ELAN and its members and maintain positive relations with funders and elected officials,- Supports the Board of Directors and ELAN committees,- Oversees planning of public events including ELAN’s Annual General Meeting,- Ensures that ELAN’s revenue base remains diverse and adequate for ELAN’s needs.

- Responsible for the strategic direction of the vision, advocacy, financial, administrative, and promotional development of the QDF that exists to support English-language theatre companies, artists and their artistic expressions in Quebec.- Nurture relationships with all sectors of the QDF membership, and provides professional support to the Board of Directors- Submits grants and all interim and final reports to, and communicates with, granting agencies.- Liaises with key stakeholders in the local, national and international communities; keeping abreast of activities, trends, and issues concerning the theatre sector.- Represents and advocates for QDF and its members in the theatre community and to governmental bodies and other organizations.
