As the 3M Plant Engineering utilities / site system integrator and controls Specialist. I provide electrical/electronic support to corporate Engineering, 3M Center utility plant, 3M-US utility plants, IT, plant and site maintenance personal and all associated site instrument control equipment. In this position I develop, procure and adapt new control systems to the existing technologies used in the Central Utility Plant/site AC&R and other control related systems. This integration provides increases in safety, usability, and efficiency for the systems. I setup planned, preventive and predictive maintenance to increase the plant and site systems operational reliability and efficiency. Provide all electronic and electrical support for the plants process control systems and plant related site controls along with US plants boiler controls. I have developed and enter new program code and usage for the boilers continuous emissions monitoring, programmable logic controllers (PLC's), operator interfaces, VFD’s, single loop controllers and WonderWare SCADA system in the plant.
