I co-founded TECLens with two other influential and successful medical device thought leaders in 2013. As COO, I develop and execute the operational plan to realize the strategic goals my partners and I have established. As our early stage engineering leader, I lead our technology development, and am inventor and co-inventor of 8 patents for TECLens, among 25 issued patents in medical device technology throughout my career

I led strategic and operational change for our global pharmaceutical and medical device clients.

In collaboration with the Dir. of Tech. Dev. I created strategies and plans to increase the value of HSS’s IP through non-traditional routes for the technology transfer office such as new venture creation and private partnerships.

• I wrote the formal business plan, created and managed a dynamic budget and financial model and orchestrated the firm’s regulatory, reimbursement, manufacturing and QA strategies.• As VP Engineering and Product Development, I designed and patented the device delivery system and managed the software design and development with collaborative input from physician advisors.

• I managed a consulting team through a product development practice assessment at global ophthalmic products manufacturer, evaluating processes, project team structure, and portfolio priorities and providing actionable recommendations for complete overhaul.• At a global pharmaceutical client, the strong and trusting relationships that I cultivated with the newly appointed head of North American operations and his nascent team leaders was instrumental in our team’s successful restructuring of the clinical development organization from a therapeutic area to a regional focus.• Managing multiple client teams at major pharmaceutical company, I facilitated the creation of processes to optimize clinical enrollment and worked closely with the pilot teams to demonstrate recruitment rate improvements > 25%. I specified and built software tools to provide real time data visibility to track progress of global trials.
