Oversee, plan, and manage the IT/IS department and IT infrastructure of the credit union. Consults with senior management team to identify short term and long term technology needs that provide efficient and cost effective technology tools for the credit union. Responsible for technological innovations, utilization, and the development and implementation of the Credit Union's IS strategic plan. Direct and manage the IT and IS functions of the credit union to ensure that in-house systems, programming, networking, installations, and operations support the credit union’s goals and objectives.Work with the CEO in setting short- and long-term technology plans that promote credit union growth and enhance service to members.Research industry trends in technology to ensure the credit union remains competitive in its product and service offerings. Keep abreast of changing trends in technology to include hardware, networks and network tools, software, and systems.Evaluate and/or design new systems, applications, networks, or other technology tools that support credit union growth, enhance services to members, and provide efficient processes for employees.Negotiate cost-effective contracts for the purchase of new systems, hardware, software, or peripherals. Develop, update, monitor and continuously ensure compliance with the disaster recovery plans, computer security and loss prevention plans, antivirus and firewall protections, etc.Direct the upgrade and maintenance of all computer hardware, software, systems tools, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and other external devices.

Oversee, plan and manage the MIS department and infrastructure. Develop short and long-term technology plans to provide efficient and effective technology tools. Serve as a lead for the credit union and participate in the business strategic planning and management. Prepare, implement and maintain the budget for the department that is consistent with the overall strategic business planning. Develop, monitor and continually ensure compliance with disaster recovery plans, computer security and loss prevention plans, antivirus and firewall protections, etc.

Provide technical support to the ACS Call Center internal/external network merchants. Coordinate phases of project management, including directing merchants and internal departments on implementation of complex network designs, testing, and installations in a manner that allows new equipment, technology or merchants to be brought on line with minimum impact to ACS in two Juarez, Mexico facilities with over 400 agents per site. Assist in providing innovative network telecommunications design solutions that include industry standard compatibility, security, availability, quality and results measurements. Responsible for complying with Internal and External Risk Assessments, SOX, and other IT related audits for the Customer Care Division. Attended ACS President's Club, awarded the “ACE” award in recognition of achieving 100% on IT and SOX audits.

Responsible for developing and administering all aspects of the Voice and Data Telecommunication functions for NPC and affiliates. Manage LAN/ WAN telecommunications support staff, develop and implement appropriate procedures for telecommunications invoicing, to ensure all billings and provided services are appropriate. One of the cost reduction projects that I was involved in, was the disconnecting of over 45 circuits in the region two facilities, which helped NPC save over 1 million dollars in revenue. I also implemented Help Desk procedures for the Southwest Region, in conjunction with corporate standards. Responsible for network that services 1500 client workstations and 72 servers utilizing Operating Systems as Novell, Windows NT Windows 2000. Supervised and directed 11 people in the Desktop, server and WAN department. Instrumental in developing and implementing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans for Division sites throughout Texas, Mexico, Fiji, India and Australia.
