Analyzes and evaluates major administrative technical and programmatic aspects of substantive aviation programs. Evaluates the status, effectiveness, and efficiency of aviation programs and develops detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation and program administration.

• Serves as the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) representative in support of the FMS, responsible for establishing and maintaining a Security Assistance/Foreign Military Sales Field Office through which intensive, non-routine USG technical, logistics and financial oversight will be conducted. • The Field Office represents the primary US communications point and interface to execute the Aviation Command Program, which is composed of Apache, Blackhawk, and 406CS platforms.

Conducts on-site, physical security inspections, surveys, and risk analysis to analyze, evaluate, and improve the physical security posture of airfield.  Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating and directing airfield security operations and serves as the POC for airfield security, including physical security of property, airfield security plans, and total management of security requirements. Develops policies and procedures for airfield use. Coordinates activities scheduling for airfield use, including long-range construction planning.

Serves as the Command Sergeant Major of the AH-64D Attack Helicopter Battalion in the 1st Infantry Division; carries out the policies and standards of performance, training, appearance and conduct of 460 enlisted personnel; directs the activities of the First Sergeants and the NCO support channel; advises and initiates recommendations to the Company Commanders on all enlisted matters in meeting the Battalion Commander's intent; assists the Battalion Staff on unit operations that directly impact enlisted Soldiers and unit readiness; serves as Senior Enlisted Advisor the the Battalion commander on all enlisted matters to include promotion, UCMJ, and Soldier fitness.

Serves as the Senior Aircraft Maintenance Manger for an Aviation Support Battalion. Responsible for the leadership, management, training, and combat readiness of six officers, seventeen NCO's and one Soldier; responsible for the planning and execution of multifunctional logistic operations including CSSAMO, Mortuary Affairs, Transportation, Ammunition, Fuel, Aviation and Ground Maintenance in supper of 2ID; provides advice to Battalion Commander and Support Operations Officer on logistical courses of action; responsible for the accountability of property valued over 2.8 million dollars.

Command Sergeant Major of an AH-64D Longbow Apache Battalion in the 2d Infantry Division forward deployed in the Korean Area of Operations; responsible for the leadership, maintenance, training and care of 418 Soldier and their families, 24 AH-64D Longbow Apache Helicopters, 101 vehicle and associated ground equipment valued in excess of 682 million dollars; responsible for training the Battalion to rapidly transition from Armistice posture to full-spectrum combat operations in defense of the Republic of Korea; charged with the professional development of subordinate leaders; ensures that the Battalion is always ready to "Fight Tonight" and win.
