I focus my practice on helping businesses and individuals to enforce contracts, commercial paper, construction liens, and other security interests. This includes assisting clients in developing preemptive strategies to minimize the high cost of litigation if a transaction does become a problem.I am admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. I am a current member and former director of the Lane County Bar Association, and I am also a current member of both the Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations. I came to the law as a second career. Prior to attending law school, I worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry, eventually serving for nearly five years as the executive chef at one of the most successful restaurants in Santa Cruz, California.For relaxation I enjoy spending time with family, gourmet cooking, and playing an occasional round of golf.
