Having worked more than three decades as a research engineer, most recently in the semiconductor industry characterizing novel nano-electronic materials, I'm now designing and building mechanical models of chaotic systems as monumental kinetic sculptures. As owner and CEO of Entropy Studio, LLC, I've recently published a book of digitally enhanced photos illustrating the Morphology of Fleeting Structure highlighting the art & science of fluid flow and crystal growth in the living and nonliving worlds. This work is the subject of a documentary film scheduled for release by the end of 2021. The book and film include a call to action - to get up off the couch and fight for truth and stand up for science.
