To put it simply, I help people who are anxious or struggling with food/body issues to feel better quickly without spending months raking over the past, trying to control thoughts or having to use breathing exercises etc.I am a qualified chiropractor, hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and teacher. This background gives me a somewhat unique perspective on how the mind and body work, modern neuroscience, learning theory and the importance of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I call my treatment approach 'NATURAL PSYCHOLOGY'.'NATURAL PSYCHOLOGY' is based on the understanding that, just as the body has a built in tendency to heal itself, the mind will also heal itself given the right conditions. This approach allows treatment to be very quick, painless and effective because we are working in harmony with the system rather than trying to force change. Trying to force change only leads to resistance and the persistence of symptoms. For example, have you ever had someone try to give you 'good' advice when you are feeling stressed or down? Invariably the advice will be rejected.On the other hand, have you ever been stuck in a problem and then suddenly, perhaps in the shower or whilst driving, had an obvious and simple solution occur to you?
