I am a bold, collaborative, and strategic leader with twenty years of professional experience in and out of the classroom. With a passion for equity and excellence, I am driven to make a lasting impact in the communities I serve. My passion to lead transformational change at both the school and district level underscores everything I do for the sake of students, families, educators, and communities. Leading and teaching in a variety of communities throughout my career has taught me the importance of listening to stakeholder voices and utilizing relevant data to make decisions that drive improvement and deliver a high-quality, well-rounded education for all students.My leadership experience includes developing, implementing, and leading organization-wide programs and initiatives; hiring, developing, and evaluating staff; advising and supporting school and district leaders; writing and aligning curriculum; leading collaborative teams; and liaising with district, community, and professional stakeholder groups. On a personal note, I enjoy serving in education, social service, religious, and professional organizations. I love to learn, garden, travel with my partner, do home improvement projects, play with my dogs, and watch baseball.
