Product Manager for Auto, Home and Umbrella for New York. Working closely with Actuarial, Distribution, Underwriting, Claims, Service Operations, IT, Legal, Contracts, and Compliance to to implement and manage competitive products. Identified serval non-rate opportunities through process improvements using data analytics that were adopted across the country.Identified and address opportunities in the rate calculation to improved pricing accuracy.Implemented the new auto product while previously managing Pennsylvania.

 Responsible for the overall classification accuracy of new business policies generated in call centers and via the internet.  Improved the call center credit hit rate by 6 points which increased our competitiveness. Implemented LexisNexis’ DataPrefill product which reduced talked time and increased the first call close rate while improving classification accuracy of prior insurance and prior liability limits. Implemented Accurint Identity Risk solution which was later incorporated into LexisNexis’ DataPrefill product Managed the automation of MVR and CLUE reports for both the call center and on the internet.  Managed the Sales Quality Rating Factor program, including modifying it to focus on highest premium impact characteristics and moving to a probability based approach to identify performance abnormalities. Implemented and managed a New Business Underwriting Pursuit Program that has maintained a 7 to 1 payback ratio. Managed vendor relationships with LexisNexis, Equifax, TransUnion, Carco, and A-Plus. Managed credit usage including compliance with all federal and state requirements.

 Responsible for Underwriting Guidelines, and monitoring the activity and practices of the sales, customer service, and underwriting areas.  Implemented tiered rating GE Auto and Home Assurance Company. Performed competitive position and win rate analysis. Analyzed results to develop pricing and underwriting changes. Implemented credit as a primary rating factor. Managed numerous projects including NJ Tiers, E-commerce project, and the Renewal Questionnaire program using an outside vendor while working closely with numerous departments including Compliance, Legal, Actuarial, Marketing and Information Technology.  Identified and implemented process improvement in both the line and staff underwriting areas.  Completed the GE Quality Green Belt Training.

 Responsible for maintenance of Ratabase systems for Voluntary and Assigned Risk Automobile rates.  Work closely with Actuarial, Compliance, Data and Model Office Departments to analyze and implement changes in an accurate and timely manner.  Supervise the updating of multiple mainframe rating files. Prepare and send regulatory reports to various Insurance Departments. Responsible for the quality control of statistical premium files. Held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Operations area including tracking and balancing premium receipts and customer service roles in both the assigned risk and voluntary auto areas.
