As a former financial professional and current Master of Science in Analytics student, I like to think I've experienced the best of both worlds in helping people. At Fidelity Investments, I spoke to 401(k) plan participants daily to craft individual strategies. There, I developed a passion for helping clients, but I eventually realized that I preferred to pivot towards a new means of doing so. My transition to data analytics allows me to continue this motif of helping people, but in a different respect - rather than speaking with people directly, I can be the force helping guide decisions internally. I am currently developing skills in data wrangling, model building, and statistical analysis at the Institute for Advanced Analytics at NC State using programs like R, Python and SQL. In my free time, I love taking a mental break from coding by going to the gym, stressing over UNC sports, and catching up on my favorite TV shows.
