I manage the customer service, installations, sales, administrative, warehouse, fleet vehicles, and the facilities for the Bath Fitter location in Wilmington, NC. I operate a budget of over 3 million dollars per year and maintain a sales and installation growth of over 20%. By building relationships with all of my vendors I have managed to keep all cost increases to a minimum. I handle all of the customer service issues and make decisions to best benefit the company and the customer at all times. I review and calculate all sales made at this branch and make sure company pricing is adhered to. I inventory all of my warehouse products on a monthly basis while keeping my discrepancies to less than 3% out of tolerance.

I supervise warehouse operations and inventory, managed the shipping and receiving areas, coordinate all of the transportation and logistics for shipping containers, manage the acid packing areas to include chromic and crystallized, all of the railhead operations, salt plant loaders for sodium sulfate, and tank farm operations to include the loading and unloading of liquid acid for the Mundy Companies at the Elementis Chromium Plant. I implemented a quality assurance system to track the quality of the product that was produced at the plant and graded each individual shift on their quality performance. I developed a Quality Control area where we could visually inspect each pallet of product before it was put on the truck which reduced the number of customer complaints by our customers. I created maintenance work orders for all of my areas and made sure they were completed through the J.D. Edwards Maintenance System. I managed several maintenance vendors that were assigned to service my areas while keeping extensive records and files while developing everlasting relationships with them. I maintained my book of business to ensure that I was maximizing the dollars generated from my areas to reduce wasteful operational expenses. I established a contracts review process for both hazardous waste and solid waste and reduced the amount spent on disposal by 50%. I implemented a cardboard recycling program which reversed the moneys spent on the disposal and turned it into positive revenue return of 45% back to the bottom line. I created spreadsheets for tracking both product and man power that improved the overall productivity of the areas of my responsibility. I instruct on and implement the SOPs for my service areas and made sure that each employee was signed off on them. I was a part of the safety committee that develops the Safety/ Best Practices that govern the site.

I managed all of the Non Tactical Vehicle Fleet which is over 1500 vehicles for all of Ft. Bragg. I supervised 28 shuttle routes and coordinate the route audits, routing, staffing, and over all maintenance for the division. I compiled and recorded the production data to include customer orders, work tickets, production specifications and individual worker production data sheets following prescribed recording procedures with different word processing techniques. I managed the mileage reports, inventory reports, and maintenance reports and records for the GSA vehicle fleet at the Transportation Motor Pool. This includes but is not limited to calculating types and quantities of items or materials used, scrap wastes, and the production times for all of the military shuttle routes and personnel. I coordinated all of the transportation for mobilization and demobilization for the 82ND ABN Division to include personnel and baggage. I was responsible for preparing fleet management inventory reports and budget reports for the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). I maintained wage data sheets and employee time cards for all Shiloh employees. I also served as assistant Quality, Safety & Security Manager. In this role I am responsible for inspections at both Fort Bragg and Pope Army Airfield for the Transportation Motor Pool operations. I complete and follow up on evaluations of deficient areas to confirm lasting corrective actions. I interfaced with Army and Air Force personnel to ensure requirements meet and stay in the matrics of Performance Work Statements. I completed and maintained Job Safety Analysis and report to the appropriate military agency.

I managed operations for all internal departments within the Carpet One franchise. Departments included sales and installation, lighting, granite design and installation, sand and refinishing, and furniture sales. Cutting costs and increasing revenue was a top priority. Customer service, safety, installations, warehousing, scheduling, inventory and relationship building with the internal and external customers were part of my responsibilities. I was able to qualify all of our installers to be Installation Excellence Certified. I controlled over 5 million dollars of inventory and maintained accurate inventory levels exceeding the top 5% of franchises nationwide. In addition, I was responsible for all facility/personnel safety training, as well as vehicle maintenance, thus preparing all required reports utilizing various spreadsheets.

Managed all the purchasing of flooring products for most of the major builders in our market area. Maintained the builder’s schedules and handled the material making sure that the tile, carpet, hardwoods, and vinyl would be available for installation according to the builder’s needs. By handling the quality control of our products and services in and out of the warehouse we maximized the quality of our products and maintained the integrity with our various vendors. By building outstanding and long-term relationships with our vendor representatives I was given the most current and competitive pricing available to compete against the local competition for bidding purposes. By Implementing warehouse policies and procedures I reported one of the most accurate inventories in the company. I was responsible for all Safety training as well as maintaining OSHA regulation reporting for this site.

Managed the daily Operations and warehouse and was responsible for ordering the material, verifying costs, inventory, quality control and the filing of claims. I controlled costs while increasing the overall profitability of the business. Conducted all internal training as well as educating employees on the policies and the procedures of the company. Safety and facilities management was performed daily to ensure complete compliance for the company and other inspecting government agencies.

Managed all operations for several armed and unarmed security sites in the Raleigh/Fayetteville District. Responsibilities include all security training, human resources management, and safety, maintaining client communication logs and payroll for 150 personnel. I supervised the hiring, drug testing, background checks and all of the scheduling for all private security for the 1999 U.S. Open Golf Championship in Pinehurst, N.C. Conducted quality control checks regularly for both personnel and facility safety and security management to ensure complete compliance of our company standards as well as our clients. I conducted Security assessments, fraud, waste and abuse investigations based on the needs of the client and the criteria that were specific to each post.
