Software Project Manager
CurrentI lead a team of talented, agile and dedicated software engineers working in-house and remotely, collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver enabling functionality for our DAS Studio Flight Test Instrumentation configuration tool which is designed to meet the needs of today's global FTI businesses. The team’s overall goal is to deliver new features in an agile environment whilst maintaining the high quality our customers expects from Curtiss-Wright applications.Daily, I manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines, but remain passionate about building a high quality enterprise application, delivering agreed feature-sets to customers on time and within budget.• I have managed and coached software developers ranging in experience from graduate level up to seasoned professionals.• I have a strong focus on delivering high quality software products and I value test automation.• I am proactive and able to deliver on initiatives that I start.• I have experience with SCRUM and working in a dynamic environment where Agile thinking is a significant part of daily life.• I possess a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive and a willingness to assume accountability for all aspects of project management.• I have excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills and sharp analytical abilities.• I have experience managing remote teams.• I am a proven results oriented person with a history of delivery.• I have experience building complex, high-performance, and highly available software applications and successfully delivering to customers.• I am knowledgeable of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.• I have a strong background and technical capabilities in object oriented design and development with .NET. C# and C++.
