Working in sales has only solidified my confidence in being able to work with customers; listening to what they require and figuring how best to help them. In accounts I learnt how to use Sage 50 software and how best to utilise this to manage the accounts. While employed I have been streamlining processes that have been I have found to be faulty or are redundant; working with my colleagues as well as customers we gauged how best to implement them into our system.

In this role I learnt how to serve customers, work as a team, use the tills and how to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. It was important to be thinking on your feet and to ensure excellent customer service. I have also learned how to find people’s strengths and the best ways they can be taught to fix their weaknesses. I was awarded employee of the month.
