CurrentI have been principal of several schools, small, medium, and large over the past twenty years, as well as being an executive principal and leader of two schools simultaneously.I have worked with all Managing authorities on mentoring and assisting principals and governing bodies on areas of concern for their school. I have experience of leading Nursery, primary, LSC, ASD and secondary members of staff, classes, and schools.As a current Principal, I am aware of the many changes currently affecting institutions across the education sectors. I see these changes as a positive move and have fully embraced these ideologies while being careful to maintain current good practice and planning. During October 2013 and again in 2018 I lead the school I was principal of in a very successful School Inspection. The ETI commented on my outstanding leadership qualities and the excellent teaching and learning that was on display. They were also very positive about the excellent relationships throughout the school on all levels and the well planned and assessed lessons.I have a strong personal work ethic and I lead by example which enables me to articulate high standards and expectations throughout all leadership positions. I have a strong focus on quantitative data and target setting and I am at the forefront of good monitoring, evaluation, and reflection. I oversee all areas of the curriculum and can delegate well insuring accountability and responsibility, as well as sharing leadership of the vision of the school.
