As an accomplished operations and human resources leader with over 20 years of experience across diverse industries, I specialize in driving organizational efficiency, employee engagement, and strategic HR solutions. My career has spanned leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, where I have consistently delivered results by improving operational performance, optimizing workforce management, and fostering a positive workplace culture.Currently, I serve as the Chief Operations Officer for Dothan City Schools, where I oversee daily operations for a district of over 1,200 employees. In this role, I manage a broad array of departments, including Human Resources, Athletics, Health Services, Transportation, Technology, Maintenance, and Facilities. I work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that align with the district’s mission and goals, all while driving efficiencies and improving processes across the board. Previously, I held the role of Director of Human Resources at Dothan City Schools, where I led HR operations, including recruitment, retention, policy development, and employee relations for one of the larger school districts in Alabama. I designed and implemented numerous programs, including the district’s first Employee Assistance Program (EAP), as well as programs focused on recognition and career development.In addition to my public sector experience, I spent over 20 years with Kelly Services, where I led operations across the southeast. As Regional Vice President of U.S. Operations, I managed a national team responsible for market development, P&L oversight, and successful implementation of staffing solutions for K-12 school districts. My role involved extensive client relationship management, project implementation, and the development of employee retention and workforce development programs.I hold a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Troy University and a Bachelor’s in Social Science & Criminal Justice from the same institution. I am also deeply committed to my community, serving on the Wiregrass United Way Board of Trustees and the United Way of Houston County Board of Directors.
