The Civix Strategy Group internship offers a hands-on opportunity for students passionate about social change and political strategy. Interns engage in a variety of tasks, including building public support for issue campaigns, planning and executing programs, and providing administrative support. Through this experience, interns develop essential skills such as Google Sheets, gubernatorial research, and qualitative analysis, while also managing social media accounts. The internship provides exposure to real-world advocacy work, collaborating with organizations like Somos Votantes and CFFE (Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy), and gaining insights into grassroots mobilization and strategic communication.

Monitored the safety and well-being of campers, and offered positive role modeling, while ensuring a positive and inclusive camp environment. Organized and led various camp activities, including outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, sports, and teambuilding exercises. Collaborated with eight fellow counselors and camp staff and maintained effective communication with up to 20 campers at a time, ranging from ages 8-13.
