Patrick Markert’s love of technology and innate entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to re-think an industry that was in desperate need of change: home financing. Patrick created AmeriSave Mortgage over twenty years ago to modernize what he saw as an extremely antiquated and fragmented loan process. He built a proprietary technology platform that quickly made the traditional loan origination process obsolete. Patrick’s vision for AmeriSave replaced the costly, time- and labor-intensive linear progression of paperwork with a streamlined, technology-driven experience that uses artificial intelligence to automate many of the tasks that previously required human attention. This new, transformed way of financing helped consumers finance their home faster and with a better rate, all while using technology that was already part of their daily lives. Under his stewardship, AmeriSave has grown into one of the largest privately-owned mortgage lenders in the country and has funded over $119 Billion in consumer loans since its founding. His revolutionary system continues to not only stay ahead of today’s rigorous standards but is constantly evolving to meet an ever-changing market demand. The platform consistently delivers low-cost mortgages to consumers in a simple, fast, and convenient way. Patrick's value for constant innovation and improvement isn’t exclusive to his tech. He instills those beliefs throughout the culture at AmeriSave, from his executive leaders through every employee. Working hand-in-hand with his leadership team, Patrick has helped cultivate a best-in-class environment that focuses on company growth, employee success and ultimately, more opportunities for homeowners. Prior to the creation of AmeriSave, Patrick studied computer science at the University of Missouri. Patrick’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to start IT Force, an IT consulting company that provided technology solutions. With IT Force, he saw the true opportunity of the dot-com boom and what it meant to consumers – More access to information and products previously deemed exclusive. He recognized the potential that this technology created for greater transparency, faster turnarounds, lower costs, and more direct, impactful connections. Not just for individuals, but for entire organizations and even global institutions.
