I began my financial services career in 1983, and I worked for 9 - 10 years for several well-known investment firms: Bache & Co. and Kidder Peabody, I then joined A.G. Edwards & Sons, the latter firm eventually evolving into the present-day Wells Fargo Advisors, where I worked for over 27 years.In May, 2021, I co-founded a "Fiduciary" RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) which demonstrates a commitment to avoiding conflicts of interest. My team and I share a conservative investment philosophy with customers who need an experienced and ethical financial advisor to help them achieve their investment goals. We accept no commissions nor any hidden fees from any investment product.I have held the CFP® certification since 1992, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. I served as an adjunct professor at Medaille College for several years in the early 2000’s, teaching various sections of the Financial Planning curriculum.I currently serve as an arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). FINRA has a forum in which industry-related complaints are heard and settled by an impartial 3-person panel. I have presided over 45 cases as the required panelist from the investment industry.I graduated from Siena College in 1981 with a B.A. in English and decided to pursue a career in financial management services after graduation. Marriage and four children have solidified my ties to Western New York. My wife Joanne (neé Cotsonas) and I are active in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Buffalo, NY. I have been elected to numerous Parish Councils, I have served as Treasurer for many years, and in 2018, I was elected Parish Council President. I also continue to play basketball in several recreational leagues, in addition to organizing the Booster Club for the Williamsville North Boys Basketball teams.
