With 20 years' experience in the Australian Army, I have established technical mastery in land electrical/electronic equipment maintenance including radar, weapons control and communications systems. My recent experience within Defences' Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group involved procurement activities, management of engineering change to communications equipment and the associated risk mechanisms, and considerable liaison with Defence contractors and contract support staff. I have also had extensive experience in test and evaluation within Defences' Joint Proof Experimental Unit. I am fully conversant with Defence technical regulations including the Land Material Safety Manual (LMSM).As an Electrical/Electronics Engineer within BMT, I aim to extrapolate and further apply my experience in leadership, technical design and management, procurement activities, test and evaluation, and workplace health and radiation safety.
