Financial Analyst supporting Bendix and Bendix Spicer in the Financial Planning & Analysis department. Main duties include: monthly analysis and forecasting for various departments, generating and analyzing monthly cash flow reports, and assisting the FP&A team with the monthly business review presentation. I provide a detailed hedge portfolio/analysis of the foreign currencies to ensure limited exposure. Assist the New Business Development team with the company-wide cost savings projects.

Third rotation of the ELDP program was in Global Operational Cost working as a financial analyst supporting the global engineering and quality departments. Primary responsibilities included: managing and maintain warranty liability accounts for North America, providing finance/forecast support to global engineering, and reconciling and maintaining the Product Line Profitability system for North America.

Second rotation of the ELDP program in the business unit of Trailers and Aftermarket as an analyst. Supported management committee with month-end variance reports and consolidated divisional reporting. Responsible for Inventory, Distribution and Remanufacturing Operations, Material Variance, and Working Capital reports for the division.

First rotation in Meritor’s Emerging Leadership Development Program for Finance. Responsibilities included: month end bank reconciliations, updating accounting standards and ensuring compliance with SOX, lead the initiative on cleaning up goods received not invoiced account, and project manager for creation of desk procedures for the department of 30+ employees.

Finance intern with Eaton’s Aerospace division while I completed my masters.

Perform federal and state income tax return for clients. Worked on a one-on-one basis with clients to plan for future tax situations.

Focused on learning the activities and investment strategies involved in a financial planning business. Worked on analyzing a fund's return and investment style.
