Having worked in the fine-dining industry for over 12 years between Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver, Patrick’s passion for wine has been exploited in various angles. After graduating with distinction and honors from the Sommelier Certificate at La Cité Collègiale in Ottawa, and while working as a sommelier in Ottawa’s hospitality industry, Patrick saw himself teaching the Wine and Food Pairing class within the College’s program. He also created and hosted a local radio wine show, while writing about wine in local media, as well as coordinating local wine/food workshops and consulting. Finally, travels to California, Italy, and an internship in the Loire Valley of France solidified his knowledge and thirst (literally!) for wine. Patrick has been in wine sales since 2007 and more importantly with Stem since the spring of 2010. He is responsible for sales in Ottawa/Kingston for licensees and private buyers/collectors.
