Shortly after finishing my masters degree in Nuclear Science and Technology (MSc) at the University of Manchester, I joined Jacobs' graduate scheme as a project manager. Degree's in Geology (BSc) and Nuclear Science (MSc) initiated, developed and sharpened my interest and passion in nuclear energy, and nuclear decommissioning in particular. My medium to long-term goal is to achieve chartership in the next 5 years with the Association for Project Management (APM). Currently, I assist in the delivery of projects related to the management and disposal of nuclear waste; working closely with teams across our nuclear decommissioning performance unit, who specialise in the range of technical areas necessary for the safe management and long-term disposal of the UK's nuclear waste.
