Electrical Designer And Project ManagerFormerly Me 1985 - 2004United StatesMy skills and experience are vast. I began my career building 10 second street cars, canyon racers, and cafe racers. With four years of high-school drafting, auto-shop, and machine shop behind me I enrolled at Citrus College in Azusa Ca. and completed carburetion, engine machine shop, machine shop and advanced machine shop studies. I also worked for dealerships and independent shops as a heavy-line mechanic. During this time frame I built hundreds of V8 engines. Giving up a dream to build or join a Top-Fuel Racing Team I became an industrial electrician benefitting in my career from knowledge and skills gained building engines, knowledge and skills that I have successfully transferred to designing and building many sophisticated engineering projects. My work on engineering and electrical projects has encompassed hospitals, data-centers, and industrial engineering and electrical systems, including but not limited to gaseous and liquid systems, mechanical systems, and municipal public works systems. I have played key roles and led concept design and site development projects as large as 160 acres; electrical projects to 50 mega watts for systems designed to operate at up to 34,500 volts, including having my designs labeled by independent laboratories. There are few aspects of engineering, electrical, plumbing, well, power, power plant, chemical plant, refinery, manufacturing, mechanical works, and various inventions I have not at one time or another made a valuable contribution to the success thereof. These days I enjoy sailing yachts 40 feet to 65 feet, performing minor and major work on my classic V12 Jaguars and 32-valve 4-cam Cadillac Northstar powered cars including converting classic cars to modern sequential-port-fuel-injection and CNP / COP Distributorless Ignition; repairing and modifying audiophile solid state and tube audio circuits and ancillary equipment, studio sound mixers, reel to reel tape, hard disc recorders, and metrology test equipment.
