Primary responsibilities include:-Overseeing the preparation and filing of substantially all of Aptiv's SEC Filings, including Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks and SD.-Reviewing all XBRL tags and resolving XBRL validation errors/warnings in Aptiv's SEC filings-Researching and implementing disclosures for new accounting standards and SEC rules-Preparing Chief Accounting Officer's quarterly Audit Committee review materials-Communicating across cross-functional teams (IR, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, etc.) to ensure consistent and accurate messaging to external stakeholders

-Responsible for administration of global lease accounting database to ensure compliance with ASC 842-Address technical accounting questions on a wide array of accounting areas from local accounting staffs-Currently leading project to update and overhaul all of Aptiv's accounting policies-Responsible for reviewing all new ASUs and presenting implications to senior management

-Prepared Aptiv SEC Filings (primarily Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and Form 8-K) including preparing, compiling, and organizing documentation and support.-Proficient in use of wDesk (formerly Workiva) to prepare the consolidated financial statements and notes to the financial statements.-Communicated and coordinated with a wide range of departments and global staff to achieve timely and accurate external financial reporting.-Researched new accounting standards, peer filings, and SEC trends and tailor 10-K and 10-Q reports accordingly.-Prepared and provided support to the external and internal auditors as requested on a quarterly basis.

-Created monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated statements of cash flow including obtaining and coordinating the collection of all required cash flow supporting details from various divisions/teams. (May 2017-Feb 2018).-Created quarterly and annual financial exhibits for 10-Q and 10-K reporting with primary responsibility for the income statement and income statement related disclosure tables as well as balance sheet related disclosures (October 2015-May 2017).-Key team member of the group responsible for creating carve-out SEC quarterly and annual financial statements for a major spin-off of a $4B division.-Independently prepared and implemented highly complex accounting solutions to address several issues identified as part of the execution of the spin-off mentioned above.-As the interim Technical Accounting Analyst (May'17-Nov'17), I performed technical accounting review of leases for proper operating/capital lease classification and drafted memos to explain the accounting treatment of individual leases to divisions.-Responsible for booking monthly consolidating journal entries in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).-Used Microsoft Excel to perform HFM ad-hoc analyses.-Created a variety of Excel macros to automate certain recurring job responsibilities.-Created quarterly financial review slides used for corporate management presentations.

-Supervised Associates over a diverse range of business processes-Promoted one year early to Senior Associate-Continually developed new Excel capabilities and best practices by thoughtfully considering better ways to get work done.

-Team member on the financial statement audits of various high profile technology companies in Austin, TX.-Developed and led several office-wide Excel efficiency trainings that have since been distributed and used by more than 15 PwC offices world-wide.

Led three sections of 30 students each in core computing competencies, specializing in advanced MS Excel and MS Access usage.
