With 19 years of combined (Navy and civilian) nuclear engineering, training, and operations experience, I’ve acquired a big picture perspective while maintaining attention to detail. I am dedicated to operational excellence, process improvement, training enhancement, and presenting sound engineering guidance. As an Engineering Watch Supervisor, I have been responsible for leading a watch team in operations, as well as casualty control, in Navy reactor plants. As Training Coordinator at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit (Charleston), I was responsible for the management, scheduling, and execution of several hundred student’s qualifications. As a System Engineer for FirstEnergy, not only did I fill the role of a System Engineer, but also Task Lead and Project Manager. As a Facility Manager for MCS, I was responsible for managing Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride conversion operations and authorizing maintenance activities.
