Patrick McCusker, previously Principal and Owner of New Town Architectural Services, has established a new firm under his own name. Pat McCusker Architecture will serve clients in the Interior and Lower Mainland of British Columbia, as well as in Southern Alberta, beginning in November 2013. The new firm will build on the achievements of New Town Architectural Services which, during fourteen successful years of business, designed over $200,000,000 of development (construction value) and was recognized with numerous industry awards.Pat brings over 25 years experience on a wide variety of development projects throughout the Interior and the Lower Mainland. PMA Inc. will support its clients, new and returning, in the pursuit of innovative design solutions that are both economical and environmentally sustainable. Pat looks forward to leading the in-house design and production teams to provide timely and cost-effective services on projects large and small.Areas of expertise include: retail and office commercial; mixed-use; low-, mid- and high-rise multi-family residential; affordable, seniors and supportive housing; ski, golf and specialty resorts; education; large-site master planning; design guideline conformance; and, urban planning.Areas of service include all aspects of project and building development from feasibility studies through schematic design, design development and construction administration to full occupancy.
