Before attending Dalhousie, I graduated from Etobicoke Collegiate Institute, with honours. Currently, I am a first year Dalhousie student in the Commerce Co-Op program, and I plan to major in Marketing. I have previously worked in the service industry, both as a Dishwasher and Prep Cook at Cactus Club Cafe. Working in a high paced kitchen environment such as this taught me how to efficiently deal with issues as they arise, as well as satisfy the customers needs. Additionally, playing on the same hockey team for a decade allowed me to develop immense teamwork skills, and enhanced my ability to lead and find creative solutions to issues that come between members of the team. I plan to use these skills to aid my path into working in the Marketing sector, as knowing how to satisfy your target market and work efficiently with your co-workers are vital within this field.
