As a demand planner I am responsible for the demand forecast for all products in the food and beverage, farm, textile care and food retail service divisions for Australia and New Zealand. I am also responsible for improving new and existing processes for Ecolab, gaining approval from key stakeholders and implementing the proposed developments.Responsibilities• Demand forecasting – Collating qualitative and quantitative data to model a collaborative demand forecasts for ANZ.• S&OP – Designing and implementing the S&OP process for Ecolab. Demand planning and S&OP are new to Ecolab so development is starting from scratch and assigned to the demand planning team.• Key stakeholder in engagement – Monthly forecast consensus achieved by negotiating and acquiring sign off from sales, marketing, finance, supply, manufacturing and upper management.• Process improvement – redeveloping and overhauling outdated processes. I have redeveloped the product transition process and created a new data extraction and analysis process in VBA coding.Achievements • Improved forecast accuracy from 65% to above 75% in all responsible divisions since starting at Ecolab.• Remodeled the product transition process for product approval and obsolescence.• Developed VBA macros to extract, analyse and display data. A process that took approximately half a day now takes 42 seconds at its fastest recorded time.• Improved key stakeholder engagement through a number of presentations and meetings with other departments and the wider organisation.

Responsible for key stakeholder engagement and approval of design cost, design weight and design direction. This project was the first of its kind for QR and I was tasked with gaining the approval and extension of the project for its entire 4 year lifetime.• Key stakeholder engagement and approval – responsible for the approval of US$80 million in tooling and US$4,500 per vehicle of design content. • Change management – Responsible for the single point of information regarding design maturity for finance, purchasing, marketing and engineering.• Team management – Managing a team of 9 QR employees that worked on different projects. My role included training, pastoral care, professional development and performance reviews. I also led a team of 7 on this project which consisted of QR and Ford employees.• Data management and reporting – In-depth analysis on cost and weight status, process efficiencies and approval ratings to continuously improve and develop new systems required for the product development process. Achievements • Cost reduction targets of 10% met through negotiation and cost reduction analysis.• Developed a new function led delivery process for Ford Europe using management by exception.• Average design approval life span reduced from 14 days to less than 7.• Programme approval gateway met with record cost reduction and minimum outstanding changes.• Project extended to full 4 year life time.

As part coordination fixture specialist I was responsible for part quality, production timing and latest engineering update. • Supplier relationship management – Continuous engagement with Turkish suppliers to update current production status and assess potential issues and delays. Supplier site visits and issue management.• Part procurement – Supplier sourcing for 1,200 parts to 10 suppliers, contract management and engineering statement of work controller.• Data management – Timing update reporting, macro writing for bespoke data analysis requests and metrics.
