Design, evaluate, and revise curriculum for five to six classes per year across Special Education, English and Social Studies Departments. Deliver instruction in distinct classes of mixed-ability students with special needs ranging from moderate to severe. Manage special education services for approximately 20 students per year. As Chair of the Resource Department, managed approximately 100 students and 15 staff members. Designed and implemented, as well as continuously monitored and adapted, a wide range of services for students regarding curriculum, materials, and/or instructional programs. As a Resource Teacher, responsibilities included Co-teaching English, Self-Contained English, and served as Math Intervention Specialist-Established compliance protocols for state and federal mandates. -Created and monitored reporting protocols for student performance data across academic areas.-Coordinated staff and student schedules to effectively deliver special education services.-Facilitated interdepartmental programs and collaboration.
