Singing semi-professionally in Belgium, Croatia, Slovenia, Sweden, the Netherlands, China, USA, and Germany in ensembles and as a soloist with Tenso Europe Chamber Choir, Anúna, M'ANAM, and Maynooth University Chamber Choir. Over the past 3 years I have developed excellent communication skills as well as a high attention to detail.All projects I have taken part in required a large amount of independent study before their start dates, and often I would have to work together with my colleagues to find the best compromise between our ideas without compromising the quality of the music. I have also learned how to be calm in any situation, and have performed to large audiences all over the world including the BBC Last Night of the Proms and performed solos to a Chinese TV audience of 100 million.

My main responsibilities are preparing food, managing stock, making and receiving orders and deliveries and maintaining HAACP records to a high standard. In busy times, I also have to work as a waiter and barista as required. I have to make timing calculations in a fast-paced environment and make sure all items on an order are completed at the same time, while also monitoring the other parts of the restaurant. I prioritize accordingly and carry out my duties with full effort until they are completed.

I was responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen. I was tasked with cleaning the surfaces and machinery while also fulfilling any auxiliary needs that the chefs might have, making me flexible and adaptable in the line of work. I am required to clean all the pots and trays, as well as the washing of all the eating utensils in the hall which can see up to 500 people coming through on any given day. I also regularly assisted in the set-up, running and clearing of events in the hall.

Elmer, New Jersey

I was the Musical Director in the Theatre department for two summers, staging two different shows each year. I was responsible for the teaching and development of the music for the show, as well as organising the band and rehearsing the cast. I also had to liaise with the Technical department so that they would know what I needed, and we would work together to deliver the best show we could under our limited resources and budget. I was a lead member of the Concerts Committee, charged with organising and setting up every concert for both summers, totalling 70 concerts of various sizes and lengths which ranged from small outdoor performances to full staged rock concerts. This required a lot of communication both on the events team and between us and the teachers involved in preparing the shows, as well as knowledge of the appropriate equipment required. On top of these responsibilities, my ultimate responsibility was to care and nurture the young people who were attending camp. I had to supervise each day at my assigned bunk area, which for me was the youngest kids in the camp aged 7-10. This required a lot of close monitoring along with frequent conflict resolution. Working with young children and being able to build close relationships with them was a hugely rewarding experience for me.
