Much of that work now informs my research into the documentation and archiving of cultural heritage material. I currently lead the mementoArtem street art archive project in conjunction with the Cooley-INSYTE Laboratory at SETU, Waterford. This project looks at the digital capture and archiving of street art with emerging international standards in the areas of acquisition, ontological data modelling, data storage and the interoperability of metadata across international aggregation services. I currently lecture across a range of subject areas including 3D modelling and photogrammetry in new media and gaming, programming in new media software development, and control testing and validation in engineering.I am a member of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and an expert member of CIPA Heritage Documentation.
