Sales Management: Successfully grew a struggling start-up technology company from $500k in sales to $20mm. This led to them being purchased by an industry leader.Management/Operations: Profitability retooled a union manufacturing operation, the new technologies created new business opportunities. The company grew and maintained success despite being in a competitive market during a depressed economy.Sales/Engineering: Combining my sales and engineering background, I introduced a new technology to an on-going manufacturing operation. Working with the ownership, we outlined a product design and marketing plan. I presented the product and its technology to key consumer packaging companies. The new product was well received for all its benefits. The response was so well received that the manufacturer built a 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility in North America to handle the product’s success.Marketing: Using an international trade show, we releasing a new consumer packaging technology to the market. The show was attended by key consumer packaging companies from North America, Europe, South America and Asia. Using a variety of media technologies, we teased the technology to the core players and associated companies. The tease consisted of an interactive presentation of new verses current process, the value added benefits and a comprehensive ROI statement. The net result was a successful product release and immediate acceptance to the new technology.
