Direct a forty year old vocational rehabilitation organization. The unique treatment concept garnered international attention and continues to thrive.-Successfully followed a retiring CEO who had been in place for 35 years-Led organization’s first strategic planning process and ongoing planning-Completed entire renovation of physical plant and substantial new construction on 600 acre, rural campus-Expanded and created new programs including supported apartment living-Opened agency’s first group home and had positive community support-Directed all development efforts, annual, endowment, and capital campaigns-Last capital campaign exceeded goal and raised 2 million dollars-Developed organization’s first written policies and procedures-Expanded outreach and promotion, left with full census and waiting list-Increased agency commitment to serving Vermonters, including increased scholarship-Largest employer in small, rural community necessitated committed involvement in the community-Provided effective leadership in a difficult health care era
