48 years in management starting with Farrell Lines in Liberia WA for seven years working 2 river ports and ocean port of Buchanan, then Seatrain Mediterranean for Italian Lines, then Safmarine in sales management in Chicago and General manager in Houston for both Houston an New Orleans, then DSL consolidation from 'FE to USA, to MSC Mediterranean Shipping until retirement in April of 2014. all management positions, I think I know shipping, and am available as a part time consultant for companies new to export or import, I am able to offer guidance in most aspects of international shipping, and have the contacts for areas I am not familiar with, which honestly is not. much.Being so called retired is boring, and I would like to assist various companies, usually smaller, on their course to international shipping. I have been in Chicago market for 40 years, and know most established companies with contacts.
