As acting Director of Mental Health for Anglicare NT, I accepted a temporary role of leading the mental health division of a state-wide service, comprised of a suite of specialist services and a well-established network of headspace centres (Darwin, Palmerston and Katherine). In this role, I provided oversight and support to a profile of approximately 40 staff, and oversee the overall direction and quality assurance efforts of our services. In this role, I lead and worked in collaboration with clinical leaders, operational managers and clinicians and administrative staff. As Acting Director, I provided people and project management skills and inform organisational strategy, growth and service integration. I lead quality assurance, risk mitigation and advocacy efforts and provide advice to the executive board, whilst maintaining a consistent leadership presence for staff and co-located services.In this role, I engaged in clinical governance activities, complex multi-stakeholder agreements, performance improvement efforts, and oversaw the successful budgetary and performance related reports to connected services.

In this role, I provided operational leadership and management support to a busy youth mental health service. Provide oversight, leadership and clinical support to four programs (Early Psychosis, Primary, Community Engagement and Administration).
