• Used the data generated from the simulation to create a 3D visualisation within the Unity game engine (written in C#)
• Used the simulation to investigate energy deposition (what proportion of energy is lost to processes like ionisation, excitation, dissociation, elastic scattering, etc) as well as how far an electron can penetrate.
• Applications in nuclear physics for energy production as well as medical scans and cancer treatments

• Developed interactive user-interfaces for next generation submarine sonar displays
• Designed prototype tools and control mechanisms for sonar operators
• Wrote code (in qml and C++) within the Qt framework to make the UI's
• Used JIRA, Confluence and Git version control
• Presented my work at a Defence conference in Melbourne
