I started my career in the field of electrical and mechanical work as an automotive wheel service tech as a student at TampaBayVocationalTechnical HighSchool. afterwards I went to work traveling the state of Florida proving and repairing liquid petroleum gas meters and regesters I became certified and liscened by the state of Florida as a liquid petroleum gas meter mechanic. I worked in the l.P.G. Industry for two years. I started with the City of Tampa in the water department as a meter technician calibrating small residential water meters and repairing them as needed using a flow bench , I moved to the water department production division as a mecanical tech. , quickly advanced to the position of a tech three from there still wanting to get back into electronics I applied for a position in the instrumentation field and won the job as an I and C tech 1, I quickly became an I and C tech 2 but had to move to the Waste water department for the job . I excelled in this position and was considered to be one of the go to technicians in the department.After 18 yrs the city went thru a reorg. Where I was promoted to the position of planner scheduler I did this job for about eleven years and decided it was time to get back in the field I did so for a year untill the supervisor position became open at the water department production Division I applied and won the job . I have a very diversified background in all facets of water and waste water from mechanical to electrical to Planning and scheduling to supervison . I am up for any challenge that awaits me and welcome any and all new experiences. I also have a passion for automotive repair and restoration I have a complete repair shop at my residence to include two lifts and various scanners. I have been involved in volunteer work after hurricane Katrina and also worked to restore Collier county after hurricanes Ivan , Jean, and Francis . I have built two homes and i am currently working on my third .
