- Primary financial contact for 23 owners and 73 Marriott hotels across the United States. Responsible for financial support during property transactions, owner financial understanding of property income statement and liaison between properties and owners for above property financial metrics (FF&E, Insurance, Real Estate tax, Capex,etc)- Ensure all managed by Marriott select service properties are in compliance with the management agreement set forth between owner and manager, and work with owners to draft and implement any side letters or amendments to said management agreement- Help lead the annual budget process for 300 managed by Marriott select service hotels. Includes budget tool development and testing, providing budgeting guidance, working with owners and hotels to agree and execute yearly budgets. - Aid in the yearly Capital Expenditure process. Work with continent teams to develop yearly guidelines to ensure brand standards are kept, guest satisfaction is increased, and ROI is evident. Lead calls with over 300 hotels detailing the Capex guidelines. Work with owners to align funding for approved Capex project and aid in maintaining the accounting for these projects as they progress. - Financially model content summarizing monthly financial results for hotel ownership groups.
