Worked primarily on inspecting incoming components ranging from small screws through PCBs to molded housings.Inspections were carried-out using a range of equipment including pin guages, slip guages, force testers, vernier guages and VMS systems before logging findings on to SAP.My work ranged from simple visual inspections through to measuring dimensions to tolerances as tight as 1/1000 Inch and then creating reports for attachment to the inspection record in SAP. The role also involved creating and assigning defective materials notifications and carrying-out any further testing required to determine the fitness of rejected parts and their potential afect on the finished item.
