Trained under the guidance of Barry Butera. Barry was an all-state player for Jesuit High School. After 4 years of playing baseball at Tulane University, Barry was drafted by the Boston Red Sox. He was a roommate of Wade Boggs throughout his minor league career. Barry learned the fundamentals of hitting from the greatest hitter of all time - Ted Williams. After his playing career Barry started one of the best baseball academies in the south. I was fortunate enough to learn the fundamentals of hitting and how to successfully teach those fundamentals to young players. As a member of his staff, I was also able to increase my knowledge of the fundamentals of defense and how to teach those fundamentals. Along with Barry, I was fortunate to learn from a staple of the baseball instructional community - Fred Krennerich. Along with clinics and camps, my services extended into one on one private lessons specializing in hitting.
