Business has been a very large part of my life from as early as I was able to follow it. My mother and grandfather being successful small business owners, I have always been exposed to the different parts of the business world and came to realize that it is something I have grown to be very passionate about.Ever since my grandfather's passing in 2020, I have strived to become skilled and knowledgeable in different business fields as a way to honor his memory on top of my already existing passion. Alongside that, film is also something that I became infatuated with at a young age and used as a way of bonding with my friends and family. As I grew up, I found that I enjoyed spending my free time watching and analyzing different parts of films such as the cinematography and production techniques, which eventually introduced me to the business behind film. The combination of these two things has created a very strong personal passion to study and eventually work in the field. As a way to fuel this passion before college, I took a class on screenwriting and an online course directed by acclaimed screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. This led me to participate in my high school writing contest and created my own personal screenwrite. I was able to work together and lead members of the school's drama club to produce multiple scenes into an acted-out play. I have also found opportunities to volunteer and assist current small business such as FamiliesFlyFree. These opportunities have taught me much about what the business world requires and I aspire to put my skills into a beneficial spot in that business world one day soon.
